Now what I mean by that is many people sell fashion items, luxury items & many of them are problem-solving product.

#1) Finding the Right product for you

Ask yourself what product you would like to sell.

What niche would you like to be in?

What are you good at? Do you have any knowledge around that product or niche?

Once you answer all the questions yourself. You can either go with a niche or just a dropshipping product.

Now you would ask what’s the difference between selling a niche product & a typical dropshipping product.

I have seen 2 types of people in dropshipping.

The first person sells a product that is a problem solver but limited to the trend. That person sells that product for 2-3 months. Retargets the shit out of that product & closes the store after a hefty product of around 100k-200k

The second person is the person who opens a niche store such as a pet store or anything. He sells a product that is a problem-solver, a gift may be or custom products who are purchased by passionate customers in that niche.

The first makes a 100k quick & moves on to a new store whereas the seconds stays in there for a long term and makes a name in community & once established it becomes easier & easier to sell in a niche store.

You decide which person you want to be. Keep in mind both options are hard. But my advise would be going with the second one because the first store has a high probability of failing.

#2) Product Analysis

So once you decide you are going to sell long term niche items or quick sell dropshipping items, you need to find a great product.

Find items that are problem-solver, have a niche or community for that product market & people are passionate about that.

If you can find all the three qualities in one product, then you my friend got a jackpot because there are not many products with all 3 qualities in them.

The second way to see if the product sells wells is to check the sales of that product on Ali Express.
